Acorn to Oak provides comprehensive assessments of cognitive functioning, emotional health, personality, and aptitude for individuals from preschool age through adulthood. We follow with tailored, one-on-one training to help our clients address and overcome the challenges, so they can reach their potential.

Children:

From preschool to adolescence, children are frequently seen at Acorn to Oak. Common assessments include intelligence testing (often for private education) as well as evaluation of ADD/ADHD, learning differences, depression, anxiety, and more.

Adults:

We address a variety of concerns related to adults’ cognitive function. Acorn to Oak offers baseline testing of intelligence, attention, memory, executive functioning, and more.

Athletes:

Acorn to Oak offers assessments of cognitive processes that may be impacted by sports-related head injuries.

Brain Injury and Health-related Events:

We offer comprehensive neuropsychological assessments to identify the mental impact of an accident or health-related event, such as a stroke.

Measurable, Proven Results

Acorn to Oak’s comprehensive assessments identify the brain functions that may be impacting a person’s performance – whether it’s related to learning, memory, emotional or social abilities, or something else.

To us, it’s not enough to interview patients and discuss symptoms to make a limited treatment recommendation. Acorn to Oak’s assessments take a deeper dive into the core issues to more accurately pinpoint the real challenges that are holding a person back.

We’ll start with a free consultation to determine whether we’re the right fit. We see clients promptly and provide their test results in a timely fashion. We know that our clients and their families are waiting for answers, and we’re committed to getting accurate, meaningful, and comprehensive solutions back in a timely manner. Following the results of our assessment, we provide customized training to address the underdeveloped skills we have identified. It is through this training that our clients learn to mitigate or reduce the symptoms that are of concern and move forward in life.
